Method 1: Block numbers from Recents in the Phone app

1. Visit the Phone app. 
2. Hit Recents → Long-press on the contact you want to block.  
3. Tap Block/report junk.
4. Based on your preference, check or uncheck Report call as spam.  
5. Choose Block.
   
    

Method 2: From Contacts in the Phone app

1. Launch the Phone app.  
2. Go to Contacts → Tap the contact you want to block.  
3. Scroll down and hit Block number(s) under Contact settings.  
4. Choose whether you want to report the number as spam → Tap Block to confirm.
   
    

Method 3: From Phone app settings

1. Open the Phone app.  
2. Hit the three-dot menu → Choose Settings.  
3. Tap Blocked numbers. It shows the list of blocked contacts on your phone.
   
    
4. Choose Add a number.  
5. Enter the contact number → Tap Block.
   
    

Method 4: Using the Messages app

1. Launch the Messages app.  
2. Open the conversation whose contact number you wish to block.  
3. Choose the three-dot menu.
   
   
4. Hit Block & report spam. 
5. Tap OK.  
   Don’t forget to confirm whether you want to Report spam or not.
   
    

Method 5: Block all unknown numbers on Android

1. Launch the Phone app.  
2. Tap the three-dot menu → Pick Settings.  
3. Select Blocked numbers. 
4. Toggle on Unknown.

Method 2: From the Phone app

1. Visit the Phone app. 
2. Choose the three-dot menu → Hit Settings.

4. In the Add phone number section, enter the number you want to block and tap + sign.
   
   
5. Alternatively, you can add contact number(s) from the Recents and Contacts menu and tap Done to block them.
