  2. Open the video on the Google Photos that you want to rotate.
  3. Tap anywhere on the screen to bring up the controls → tap Edit.
    Select the video and tap Edit
  4. Now, select Crop.
  5. Tap the rotate icon until your video is rotated to your desired orientation.
    • Note that your video will be rotated 90 degrees at a time. To custom-set the orientation of the video, use the slider to set the degrees you want to rotate your video by.
  6. Once done, hit Save Copy.

Here, I will demonstrate the steps using GoPro Quik.

  1. After opening the app, go to the media section.
  2. Select the video you wish to rotate.
  3. Tap the Edit iconFrame.
    Tap on Media and select the video, tap the edit and select Frame
  4. Select Rotate to rotate the video by 90 degrees.
  5. If you wish to custom-set the orientation of the video, adjust the slider above.
  6. Once satisfied, tap the check icon → hit Save.
    Tap rotate, adjust the slider, tap the tick mark and save
  7. Choose Save to phone.
  8. To adjust the export quality, tap the settings icon.
  9. Select the resolution you want.
  10. Now tap Continue, and you’re done!
    Select Save to phone, tap settings icon to select resolution and tap Continue
